You can use your HSA or FSA to pay for eligible services booked through Blys — provided they qualify as a medical or wellness expense under IRS guidelines.
Eligible services may include:
Massage therapy prescribed by a healthcare provider for treatment of a medical condition (e.g., pain management, injury recovery, stress relief)
Other wellness services that meet your plan’s coverage rules
Important:
Not all HSA/FSA administrators cover the same services. Always confirm with your HSA/FSA provider before booking to ensure eligibility.
How to Pay Using Your HSA/FSA Card
Add your HSA or FSA card as a payment method in your Blys account.
- Book your session as you normally would.
- Once the booking has been accepted by the provider you will receive a email notification and the will have to Complete payment using your HSA/FSA card.

- Upon click on complete you will be redirected to a checkout page, where you will have to fill in the survey, based on the survey the system determine if you are eligible for HSA/FSA payment.
- Once you are eligible you will receive add addition prompt where you can add your HSA/FSA payment details

- Once clicked Pay Now - your booking has finally been confirmed
- Keep your receipt or invoice — you may need to submit it to your plan administrator for verification.
Getting a Receipt or Invoice
You can download your tax-compliant invoice from your Blys account:
Go to Your Bookings
Select the relevant appointment
Click Download Invoice
Each invoice includes the provider’s name, service type, date, and payment amount — everything your HSA/FSA administrator typically needs.
What’s Not Covered
Examples of services that usually don’t qualify:
Relaxation or general wellness massages without a doctor’s note
Beauty or cosmetic services (e.g., facials, non-therapeutic treatments)
If your service is for general wellness and not medically necessary, your HSA/FSA provider may decline reimbursement.
